Our client, a listed plc with a truly global footprint, is looking to hire a new Internal Auditor to join their specialist team. Reporting directly to the IA Manager this is a great opportunity to develop your finance career with a fast moving commercially focused global corporation. As a key member of a team responsible for auditing the Group, the role will include reviewing internal control policies, procedures and processes across the business, identifying areas of risk and implementing effective solutions. If you are a qualified accountant with a commercial outlook, a background in audit and a desire to travel the world while developing your career in finance with a global plc then this could be the ideal role for you. Key Responsibilities: • Deployment of the annual risk based audit plan including participation in the ongoing evaluation of audit plan based on emerging risks • Perform audit procedures to test the effectiveness of the controls • Take responsibility for the completion of work papers, identification of risks/audit issues, report preparation, and escalation of relevant matters identified in the audit process to senior Business and IA management • Foster a culture of risk and control awareness across the organisation by working closely with front line staff and second line of defence functions Key Requirements: • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIA) with a professional services background, ideally big 4 • Strong knowledge of current internal audit standards and methods • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Interested candidates should click the APPLY  button to direct a copy of their CV to John Ennis at Executive Connections for immediate consideration.
