Graduate Product Developer

OVERVIEW:

Robert Half are looking for a Graduate Product Developer to join Premium garment company in Birmingham. You'll be responsible for being part of the design and manufacturing to ensure that the product is to a high standard.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Help fit seamless garments to a high standard and gathering accurate information to create detailed comment forms to send to suppliers
• Work with Materials Development team to analyse and resolve any fabric issues
• To assist with a range of technical, investigative work to ensure the product is delivered to the best of standards
• Work closely with buyers and designers to crate new garment specs
• Keeping critical paths up to date, communicating any changes to the merchandiser, product and trading teams
• Effectively communicate the global supply chain
• Thorough checks of all samples submitted across all development stages
• Keeping spec standards high, communicating effectively throughout the business internally and externally

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 2.1 degree in Textiles, Art, Buying, Merchandising, or Fashion Design.
• A-C in Maths and English ( GCSE )
• A good understanding of clothing factory methods and production or a willingness to learn
• Ability to measure and grade to a high standard
• A knowledge or interest sportswear fabrics and testing methods
• Understanding of critical paths

Offer:

Up to £20,000 P/A
