We are searching for an established and competent Management Accountant to work closely with the Finance Director of a family owned distribution business in rural Oxfordshire.

Client Details

A national multi-site distribution business based in rural Oxfordshire.

Description

  • Monthly preparation of management accounts for all group companies to cost centre level.
  • Analyse and investigate cost centre variances to budget and forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly commentary pack and issue to the Senior Management Team.
  • Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts.
  • Analyse and report on capital projects and work in progress.
  • Prepare all statutory returns including VAT, Aggregate Levy, P11D and various ONS returns as required.
  • Liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Assist in budget and forecast preparation for the main entity.
  • Prepare the budget and forecasts for several entities.
  • Assist the Finance Director in all aspects of IT support.
  • Cover other roles e.g. Payroll, Credit Control, Sales Invoicing, Cashier, Purchase Ledger as required.
  • Any other duties as requested from time to time by the Finance Director.

Profile

  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified accountant with at least 2+ years PQE.
  • Familiarity in dealing with intercompany accounting.
  • Previous track record of working in a multi-site environment.
  • Comfortable coaching and mentoring other members of staff.
  • Sage 200 experience.
  • Confident with prioritisation and autonomy.
  • Evidence of building relationships outside of finance.

Job Offer

£42,500 - £47,500 + benefits.
