Client Details

My client are a household name retailer with the customer at the heart of their offering. This role will provide exposure to some of the most senior figures inside, and outside of finance.

Description

• Lead and direct the team to provide insightful financial analysis, challenge, and support to the Heads of Commercial Trading and their Category Trading teams in the setting and delivery of their financial targets

• Business finance partners in forecasting and evaluating the impact of proposed commercial strategies such as price, promotions and availability.

• Lead and develop the team to provide commercial support and analysis for the evaluation of supplier trading negotiations and joint business plans, use relevant influence and challenge to ensure proposals enhance the business margin performance.

• Lead and motivate the team to develop and enhance their own capability by encouraging a learning culture so that they can achieve their maximum potential.

Profile

You will be qualified with at least 5 years PQE - it is essential you have worked in a food environment (preferably retail)

Personality is also key to this role - the successful candidate will be inquisitive, confident and a natural relationship builder

Job Offer

Basic salary of £70-85,000 with fantastic benefits package and pension scheme
