Page Personnel are working with an exciting, fast paced company, looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their well established Finance Team.

A well known business, with a strong market share and good reputation for staff retention, are recruiting an Assistant Financial Controller.

Description

As a Assistant Financial Controller, you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the Finance function - managing a small team and producing monthly management accounts.

Responsibilities will include; but are not limited to: continuous process improvement; development of team; daily cash forecasting; sales analysis; gross margin reporting; preparation of monthly management accounts including balance sheet, profit and loss account; intercompany account reconciliations; VAT returns; HMRC reporting; liaising with external auditors.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be studying towards/Finalist ACCA/CIMA - Essential
• Have recent knowledge of working in a fast paced senior finance role - Essential
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
• Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
