Tax Consultant - Large Legal Firm

Our client is a large Legal Firm. The tax department is a revenue generating department within the firm and they are currently experiencing significant growth. Due to this they seek to hire an experienced Tax Solicitor or Tax Accountant at a Senior Associate level to assist with existing work streams and help stimulate further growth. The Role: Ensuring the firm's clients are compliant with their corporate and personal tax requirements. Researching and identifying tax issues and tax planning opportunities for clients Researching technical tax issues Providing general ad hoc advice to clients and other departments within the firm across a range of tax heads such as employment, corporate, VAT, estate and succession planning Taking a lead on consulting transactions The Person: Qualified tax professional (AITI | CTA) and a qualified solicitor or accountant (ACA | ACCA) Good tax technical knowledge Excellent drafting skills Proven business development skills a distinct advantage Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively manage workflows Commercially aware How to Apply Amicus Search & Recruitment manage a strict data protection policy ensuring your information and all forms of communication are held in strict confidence.
