Accounts Payable Manager

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Manager to join a leading Service Sector Organisation close to Central Birmingham. Role

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the development and management of the Accounts Payable Team Leaders who in turn manage a diverse group of accounts payable assistants.
• Ensure all processes and procedures within Purchasing to Payment (P2P) are fit for purpose, efficient and effective.
• Take responsibility for the quality of service provided by the team and the development of the team's capability, ensuring inputs, processes and outputs are managed effectively.
• Ensure that relevant team objectives and KPIs are set and achieved within allocated budgets and in line with strategy.
• Lead staff through periods of change
• Ensure P2P systems are fit for purpose, integrate appropriately with corporate requirements, and are aligned to changing internal and external influence.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Profile

An outstanding leader with P2P experience within a large, complex business is required for this role. Ideally candidates will hold a relevant qualification and be educated to degree level.

Salary & Benefits

A base salary of £40,000 - £50,000 is offered for this role along with an excellent pension, parking and outstanding holiday. A flexible working environment is promoted in order to maximise work/ife balance.

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
