The Role:

A highly regarded Australian organisation based in the CBD seeks a proactive qualified Accountant to support financial reporting and commercial analysis. At present, we are seeking expressions of interest to join our candidate and contractor talent pool in order to be considered for any future roles (subject to client instructions and/or approval).

Reporting into the Senior Accountant and sitting within a high performing team you will take ownership of the full financial accounting process as well as some important commercial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Building key stakeholder relationships with other departments inside and outside of finance
• Ownership of month end & the preparation of financial statements & preparation of month end reporting
• Responsible for weekly cash flow forecast and analysis
• Ownership of reconciliations, fixed assets & general ledger procedures
• Responsible for liaison with the tax office and filing of all FBT, BAS and corporate tax submissions
• Streamlining existing processes in aim of enhancing efficiencies
• Any other ad hoc duties as required
• To provide Audit reporting support to external and internal auditors
• Support corporate and statutory reporting requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications & CA/CPA Qualified
• Strong Financial Accounting Skills within an Australian business highly desired
• Excellent communication skills & Strong Excel skills
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Somebody that has an ambitious & driven personality
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, MYOB & TM1 or similar required

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + Superannuation
