Credit Controller

I am recruiting two exciting Credit Control opportunities to join a growing business based in Abingdon. This is temporary role to provide support to the team. There is also a possibility that it could become permanent!

Client Details

My client based in Abingdon is looking for a Credit Controller to join there team. The position of the Credit Controller is within the finance team located at Abingdon. This role will support all departments and are targeted to reduce bad debt and improve the cash position of the company. This is a fast paced department responsible for invoicing and credit control.

This role is primarily focused on reducing bad debt and cash collection but also includes the associated responsibilities of cash posting, statements, query resolution and administration. This is a temporary role so they are looking for people who are immediately available. However, there is a high possibility that the role could become permanent!

Description

Credit Controller responsibilities:

• Credit Control - Management of 800 accounts

• Cash Posting - daily

• Dealing with queries by email and phone

• Reducing bad debt and DSO

• Managing AR email box alongside their own

• Reducing unallocated cash

• Producing and sending monthly statements

• General administration activities

• May be occasional billing support requirements.

Profile

The successful Credit Controller candidate must:

• Have credit control experience

• Have good interpersonal skills

• Have cash posting experience

• Take ownership of managing queries until resolution

• Have good attention to detail
