Finance Manager

Premier Global, a market leading fitness training and awarding organisation in Huntingdon, North Cambridgeshire; are looking to appoint an experienced finance professional as Finance Manager for their fast growth group of companies. The vacancy has arisen due to business growth and as such you will play a crucial role in supporting the Financial Controller with the day to day running of the finance team in Huntingdon - a role with a focus on both management reporting and FP&A. As Finance Manager you will report to the Financial Controller and assist with the accurate and timely preparation of management accounts, year end statutory reporting, Audit as well as developing FP&A activity to support the continued growth of the organisation and reporting requirements of Ascend Learning. It is expected that the Finance Manager will deputise in the Financial Controller's absence and will periodically attend senior management meetings. Whilst continually striving for growth, Premier Global are committed to improving processes and procedures and as such the Finance Manager will be involved in various ad hoc project requests. Although initially not an expectation of the role, it is anticipated that the Finance Manager will oversee members of the finance team in the near future.Key responsibilities include:· Production of management accounts and month end reporting· FP&A - budgeting, forecasting and driving KPI led data· Supporting audit and preparation of statutory accounts· Assist in the development of internal controls and procedures· Ad hoc reporting and project work· Training, mentoring and leading accounts staffYou will be able to demonstrate a strong background of management reporting and FP&A activities and ideally have experience in statutory accounting (desirable not essential).
