Treasury Accountant

Robert Half are currently recruiting a Treasury Accountant for an established business based in Birmingham. This is a permanent vacancy offering excellent career progression for a rapidly growing business who have added 15 finance people to there existing function this year.

You will be assisting with the day to day deliverable of the treasury team, providing support and insight to the wider team. This role will also involve commercial exposure working with clients on a daily basis.

Role

Treasury Accountant

• Run reports and trouble shoot using own initiative
• Review daily bank reconciliations of bank and statements in accordance with deadlines
• Support the year end audit, ensuring that information is provided accurately and on time
• Management of the invoice process
• Continuously looking for process improvements
• Provide support to the wider team when necessary
• Ensure timely and accurate settlement of payments
• Support senior management with client requests
• Release payments in accordance with client approval policy

Profile

• Educated to degree-level or a background within Financial Services (desirable)
• Excellent Excel skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
• A positive, flexible and supportive approach
• Experience in a similar Treasury role (preferred)

Salary & Benefits

£35,000 - £45,000

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
