A rare opportunity is available for an experienced Finance Analyst with a strong Financial Accounting background to join one of the organisations highest performing teams, with the prospect of joining the organisation on a permanent basis following contract completion. THE ROLEWorking as a Finance Analyst for one of the UK's best brands, you will be providing financial support/analysis across your own designated areas. This particular interim opportunity comes with a duration of around 9-12 months contract with the potential of an extension + further potential beyond contract work. Working as part of the financial reporting team, your objective is to ensure the integrity of accounting a portfolio of group companies at both individual company and consolidation level.A key requirement of the role will be to assist in continuing process improvement, particularly with regard to the preparation of reliable monthly reviews and the annual consolidation process.The individual translates technical knowledge and understanding into efficient and effective reporting.The ideal candidate will:Have proven Financial Accounting experience OR strong knowledge in this areaBe ideally from a practice background OR with retail experienceBe part, newly qualified or experienced qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Be able to demonstrate their drive and their motivation to contribute to a unique culture Macildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
