Accounts Assistant

Robert Half are working in partnership with a well-established and fast expanding construction business based in Weston-Super-Mare - they are looking to add a driven and dynamic Accounts Assistant to their finance team.

This role is an immediate need and will be temporary for up to 3 months and will support a tight-knit, supportive finance team.

Title: Accountants Assistant


Location: Weston-Super-Mare


Salary: £10 - £11 per hour


Full-Time: Temporary 2 - 3 months

Main responsibilities:

• Day to day accounting duties
• Ensuring purchase ledger invoices are correctly matched, batched and coded
• Ensuring sales ledger invoices are raised and cash allocated
• Day to day banking and bank reconicilations
• Credit Control when required

General requirements:

• Varied accounting background, ideally with exposure to the duties listed above
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and focus on process
• Able to use initiative and a good attitude
• Highly competent with Excel, and experience using an accounting software
