Trainee Management Accountant

Robert Half are working with a growing organisation in Bicester to recruit a newly created Trainee Management Accountant to join their forward thinking finance team. This is an excellent development opportunity for an progressive, ambitious individual that wants to gain full exposure to management accounting and a long term career. This is a full-time permanent vacancy with a salary between £20,000 - £25,000 plus study support on offer.

The Role

As the Trainee Management Accountant, your main responsibilities will consist of:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with monthly reporting
• Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process
• Intercompany bank reconciliations
• Journal preparations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Variance analysis
• VAT returns Assisting with annual audit

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 12 months experience within an accounting role
• Ideally an AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Keen learner
• Strong Team player
• Competent user of Excel

Salary & Benefits

Our client is offering a salary between £20,000 - £25,000 plus study support, pension scheme, on-site parking, excellent office facilities amongst other benefits.
