We are looking for a Finance Manager for our San Francisco Bay Area Office, who will analyze day to day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to the Regional Leadership Team as well as West Region Market Leaders.

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

  • Develop and present monthly forecasts of the assigned markets to regional leadership, providing appropriate color and context around variances to prior forecast, prior year and plan. Articulate risks and opportunities to the forecast submitted.
  • Partner with market leaders to ensure business is implementing strategies to deliver on forecast commitments, identify gaps to forecast, develop actionable assurance plans and ensure such plans are properly measured and regularly reported on.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial close in accordance with the calendar published by division finance. This requires that all necessary business transactions have been reviewed, approved and posted to local finance systems and HFM on a timely basis.
  • Ensure region adheres to corporate internal control requirements, including financial and operational policies and procedures, matrices and segregation of duties.
  • Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Finance or Accounting
  • Master's (MBA, Finance) preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance, or related function
  • Experience in General Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Forecasting and Budgeting
  • Experience in HFM, SAP, BI, and Excel
  • Highly motivated individual who is detailed oriented and performs well under time pressure
  • Flexibility to be able to manage competing priorities
  • Candidate should be team–oriented and have excellent written oral communication and inter–personal skills as he/she will be interfacing with a geographically dispersed field based organization
  • The successful candidate will be assertive, results–oriented and have good problem solving skills.
