Michael Page are pleased to be working with a Public Sector organisation in Bristol to recruit a Group Accountant into their team.
Description
- Preparation of financial information for review
- Review balance sheet reconciliations across a group of departments
- Preparation of year-end accounts
- Preparation of group consolidations
- Conduct appraisals and develop skill sets of direct reports to improve the quality of the overall finance function
- Identify and implement process improvements within the financial reporting functions to generate key efficiencies
Profile
The successful candidate must:
- Be a qualified accountant, either newly qualified or experienced
- Have previous experience of working within the Public Sector
- Be experienced in preparing accounts on a group level
- Have prior experience of managing people
- Possess excellent communication, teamworking and interpersonal skills
