Financial Analyst II - Memphis

1. Prepares strategic planning and profitability reporting for the company.2. Provides detailed analytical support to include market dynamics, competitive information, mix enrichment, and internal cost drivers to support the management team.3. Analyzes opportunities and alternatives for improving financial performance, confers with team.4. Drives the annual budget process for assigned function(s).5. Engages in project planning and implementation.6. Oversees the completion of projects or assignments including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc.Education and Experience Requirements
• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience required• 3–5 years financial analysis experience required• MBA or other Master's degree preferred• CPA/CFA license preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of financial concepts, principles and best practices• Ability to provide insightful analytics to executive management• Ability to interface with all levels of the organization• Ability to assimilate broad source data into planning models• Ability to identify variances and trends• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines• Attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team• Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)Physical Demands & Working Conditions
