Facebook is looking for a Finance Manager to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to support the Enterprise Engineering organization (Global IT and Corporate Network). In this role, you will lead the financial analyses for one of Facebook's largest areas of investment. You will provide strategic decision–making support related to short–term and long–term capital investments and operating expenditures. Successful candidates for this role will need strong finance & accounting skills, interpersonal skills, leadership experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross–functional teams. Strong Excel and presentation skills are required. This role is located in Menlo Park, California.


  • Strategically partner with the CIO and the EE organization, assisting with strategic decision–making and financial oversight. Provide financial leadership across budgeting, forecasting, and long–range planning.

  • Influence business partners by providing proactive suggestions and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy and lead projects to deliver improvements in productivity and operating costs.

  • Build the bottoms–up budget, forecast and long–range strategic plan for headcount, operating expenses and capital expenditures. Develop budget review presentations, excel models and ad–hoc analyses for the business.

  • Prepare and track project budgets, approve POs, change orders, payments, etc.

  • Perform the monthly close process and review the full P&L during close periods to ensure financial data accuracy.

  • Review monthly reports, trends and metrics with business partners, and provide suggestions for improvement. Ensure and maintain forecast data accuracy and integrity.

  • Collaborate with teams in Finance and Operations including vendor management, fixed assets, accounting, and tax.

  • Work closely with the Accounting teams to ensure tight financial controls and fulfillment of audit requirements.


  • 7+ years accounting or financial analysis experience

  • Experience with P&L analysis and knowledge of GAAP and fixed assets accounting

  • Communication and interpersonal experience

  • Organization experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

  • Experience with Oracle Financials, Hyperion Planning and Essbase

  • Exceptional business partnering skills

  • Accounting and/or fixed assets experience
