What you will do Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue results and profit margins. Support the creation and maintenance of monthly financial and operational reports. Responsible for creation of routine and ad hoc reports and analysis Assist with and oversee the consolidation of financial forecasts, budgeting and monthly close for the business unit. Measure actual performance results against forecast/plan and identify issues that require further action. Develop, interpret and implement financial and accounting concepts or techniques for financial planning and analysis. Assist in the creation and review of Business Unit capital requests. Assist in the financial analysis of R&D projects and sales compensation plans Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year–end financial close processes in accordance with Corporate guidelines and policies. Prepare and enter financial journal entries into the general ledger system in accordance with Corporate policy. Responsible for monthly, quarterly, end of the year SOX reporting, data gathering and consolidation. Assist with the annual Budget process and preparation of the Annual Strategic Plan Assist in the preparation and review of financial data for Business Development projects Develop analysis to evaluate effectiveness of Marketing and Sales programs & promotions.
#KK–1 What you need to be successful B.A/B.S in Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This position may be elevated to a Senior Financial Analyst role for candidates that possess an appropriate level of relevant experience as determined by STERIS. Strong analytical skills and business acumen. Advanced Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills. Oracle, Business Intelligence systems like COGNOS, and Khalix experience a plus. Ability to be a self–starter; excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; Excellent attention to detail Offering you in return
