My client, an established and reputable FMCG organisation based in Bristol, is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead their site finance team. Reporting into a team of Directors, you will be charged with the successful financial management of the site.

The Job:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting for the board of directors
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts
  • Preparation of the annual budget
  • Lead daily finance department operations & team, including reviews and objective setting
  • Highlight training needs to develop skills and abilities of direct reports
  • Proactively analyse costs to assist in ensuring the resources of the company are being used in the most productive manner
  • Provide information to Directors and Senior Management on where Productivity and profitability gains can be made
  • Ensure the submission of Intrastat, EC Sales List, VAT Return etc.
  • Review and approve weekly wages and monthly salary payrolls
  • Act as the first point of contact for Auditors
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis and project work as required


Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, however QBE candidates will be considered


Circa £50k - £55k
