Based: Kirkham

Salary: Up to 21k

Our client, a distinguished business based in Kirkham are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone with good experience of the day to day transactional duties. You will be reporting to the Financial Controller and be part of a team of 5.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience of the below:

  • Taking credit card payment telephone calls, processing PDQ payments and doing the end of day totals
  • Sales Ledger
  • To allocate web receipts
  • Set up new accounts
  • Run monthly statements and prepare for outgoing post collection
  • Assist with the daily credit control reminder list
  • Assisting with daily cash collections
  • Help to collate, stamp and input/scan invoices into the purchase register
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Administer petty cash payments and reconcile monthly
  • Run the HSBC statements monthly, distribute to card holders and record transactions onto a spreadsheet.
  • Adhoc duties
