The Senior Financial Analyst, Operations Finance will support and, in many cases, lead efforts in providing financial and analytical support to the Operations Finance team, including Physicians Services and other Shared Service / Cost Centers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following activities are representative of the key responsibilities that this role would be responsible for. Develop and analyze financial reporting related to the key operational indicators for the Operations Finance, Physician Services and Shared Services groups and ensure standardized processes and internal controls are in place and operating effectively. This would include managing data and certain systems related to financial reporting, budgets, and monthly financial analysis.
Lead the preparation, financial analysis, and presentation of the Physician Services and Shared Services Monthly Operating Reports (MOR), or Monthly Financial Review (MFR) Reports. This would also entail recording journal entries, preparing account reconciliations and analyzing and articulating variances between actual and expected results.
Partner with the Practice Operations, Shared Service Center, and Operations Finance Local and Leadership Teams to provide financial support, budgeting assistance, and financial analysis.
Organize and lead the Company–wide efforts in preparation and communication of budget directives.
Assist in the preparation of the Physician Services and other HSC departmental budgets and provide assistance to the local teams with the overall budget process to include system enhancements and modifications, testing of the budget system, training, reporting, review, etc.
Complete monthly revenue reconciliation and annual revenue (AR) valuation process (ARMAPs) at the Health Support Center (HSC) for Physician Services.
Train and support the Operations Finance team and market leadership on applicable financial systems.
Lead departmental accounting improvement, COID Consolidation projects and ongoing standardization of ac–counting practices, training end users, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
Assist with providing support to the external and internal auditors, which would include Sarbanes–Oxley Act (SOX) requirements.
Assist in the ongoing development of operational efficiencies for all financial systems used by the Operations Finance department by providing ad hoc reporting, participating in special projects, as well as the preparation of ad hoc financial analysis and modeling.

Minimum of 5 years of industry, internal audit, or public accounting experience. Experience at a Big 4 Accounting Firm a plus. Certifications:
CPA a plus WORK ENVIRONMENT AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
