LifePoint Health Business Services, located in Johnstown, PA, is a centralized revenue cycle service center supporting multiple hospitals in the LifePoint Health network. Services provided by LifePoint Health Business Services range from hospital billing to claims follow up and customer service.
Responsible for supporting and assisting senior leadership with financial reporting
Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly general and standard reporting, including productivity, metric performance, denial database, comparative reports, and account reconciliation reports
Assists leadership with Pro Forma and Hospital Support Center mandatory reporting requirements
Responsible for verification of the accuracy of the data being reported and ensures report analysis is validated prior to distribution
Maintains and reviews benchmark data from software and/or online tools utilized within Business Services
Assists associates with questions and/or problems related to tracking and data input into proper accounting format, including Excel and/or access issues with the interpretation and utilization of a report
Assists with the building of data warehouse for the BSC and creation of dashboards in visualization tools (i.e., PowerBI and Tableau)
Bachelor's degree Required
Minimum Required Work Experience
Three (3) years relative experience in a business setting required, preferably health care based.
Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle structure and process preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, preferred knowledge of PowerBI and/or Tableau
Requires critical thinking skills, problem solving, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision and must possess excellent time management and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
