Job Duties

  • Partner with Finance Leaders in all C&C business units in Commercial and Clinical in monthly financial closing process, and the global consolidation reporting for our C&C Division. In addition, business review process to review monthly performance vs budget and forecast, diagnose variance drivers, develop and edit project budgets and forecasts, assess pipeline, and identify risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee project profitability with analysis of all revenue streams and cost details to ensure accuracy and improvement of country/business unit profitability.
  • Manage, support, and develop financial analysis for all UDG Group requests and special projects as determined by Global C&C CFO.
  • Manage and review P&Ls for C&C projects (i.e. Capital Expenditures and depreciation maintenance) and collaborate with CFO to identify and resolve issues.
  • Manage and review monthly P&L, balance sheet and Working Capital reconciliations along with maintaining monthly, quarterly and annual project projections for accuracy.
  • Oversee global C&C collections of client receivables for country/business units to assist with the optimal cash flow.
  • Provide support as necessary to internal and external auditors.
  • Provide support to CFO in the annual Budget process, and the monthly/quarterly forecasting process, including the consolidation of Global C&C results.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the UK Divisional cost center and Global C&C Division: monthly closing and reporting.
  • Identify areas for margin improvements and process improvement especially in regards to monthly close activities, and make suggestions for action.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process by developing budget templates, relevant financial analysis, and consolidations.
  • Development of PowerPoint presentations for Executive Management and Board of Directors.
  • Generates financial reporting and participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned, especially by the SVP CFO of C&C.
  • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree required with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • 6 years of relevant finance experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively across various levels of management within a large, geographically diverse, matrix organization.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in order to establish priorities and utilize available resources to meet strict deadlines.
  • Perform duties with high–level of responsibility and minimal supervision.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Data Analysis) – (V–Lookup's, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP Finance system.
  • Experience with COGNOS consolidation reporting packages.
  • Displays flexibility in adapting to organizational growth and change.
  • Strong, quality and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to achieve tight reporting deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with others.
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently.
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
