Job Purpose: The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in managing the ultimates process and financial planning and analysis for the Universal Television (UTV). The individual will interact with NBC Network finance, all distribution finance teams (TV Distribution, DVD's, EST, etc.) and cost centers (Production, Participations, and Residuals). This role will support our quarterly ultimate's reviews, monthly pacing submissions, as well as our annual budget and long–range plan. Other core responsibilities include ad hoc analysis related to the operations of UTV. This role will report to the Sr. Manager of Finance for UTV. Essential Responsibilities: Provide key support in forecasting and reporting UTV ultimate P&Ls including variance analysis Support the quarterly ultimate's reviews with Distribution Markets, Production finance, Participations, and Residuals teams Manage monthly pacing submission for Internal and 3rd Party Networks License Fees Facilitate and prepare monthly/quarterly closing processes and related compliance activities Present out to CFO of Universal Television around the ultimate P&Ls by show Perform ad hoc analysis for scenario planning


Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Accounting and/or FinanceEligibility Requirements:• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA• Must have work authorization to work in the United States• Willingness to work long hours and on weekends with short notice

Desired Characteristics: • Excellent technical and analytical skills• Previous work experience in a Television or Media companies• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP• Initiative and self–motivation, requiring minimal supervision.• Advanced Excel skills• Possess the confidence, presence, and communication skills to interact and present to senior management and high–level executives• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong organizational skills• Ability to deliver on multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, and be effective and decisive under pressure• Adaptability and flexibility to work well in a fast–paced, results–oriented and rapidly changing environment• Team player with interpersonal ability to work with others and collaborate to achieve goals• Excellent judgment and problem–solving skills to quickly resolve unique and challenging issues/concerns
