The Finance Analyst performs financial analysis and prepares accurate, transparent and timely financial reports to support leadership in the decision making process.
  • Collects, analyzes and interprets financial and operating data for business units and/or corporate functions.
  • Provides decision support to business management through the creation of tools, models, presentations, and dashboards.
  • Prepares reports and analyses in support of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and ongoing financial activities.
  • Serves as a finance business partner and prepares forecasts and budgets for assigned business units and/or functional areas.
  • Performs variance analysis and investigates irregularities.
  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years') or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Solid understanding of accounting/financial principles, and regulations/legal requirements
  • Ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients
  • Proven ability to be analytical and handle data effectively
  • Confidence to handle sensitive information and make sound recommendations
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project administration skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data
