Our client seeks to appoint a full time temporary payroll clerk to work in a customer focused finance department. The post holder will be accountable to a supervisor and must be capable of working on their own initiative to prepare wages/salaries from input data to produce a net pay Duties will include Duties for wages, salaries and members payments Preparation from source data (costing sheets/travel and substinence claims) and input of data to the computer for processing of salaries and wages. Production of security pay advices Maintenance of adequate records/files pertinent to efficient payroll administration Ensuring accuracy of Nominal Ledger codings for Management information purposes Statutory and Third Party Deductions Dealing with enquiries regarding wages Maintaining and updating the payroll bank account - identifying discrepancies and reconciling Creating appropriate files for BACs transfers Correlating and providing statistical information for management in relation to the costing of training and conferences Completion of statistical information Performing any other duties related to Payroll, as required, or similar level duties in the the interest of self and organisational development in another finance section Essential Criteria Grade C or above in at least 4 GCSE's or equivalent, which must include English and Maths AND 2 years relevant experience in a finance department/office to include debtors/creditors/wages or similar experience OR in lieu of Qualifications You must have at least 3 years relevant experience in a finance department/office to include Accounts Receivable (debtors)/Accounts Payable (Creditors)/ Wages or similar experience Desirable Criteria 1 years' experience of computerised payroll processing Previous working experience of Cintra IQ or Sun Account System If you feel that you have the skills and experience required for this position please forward CV to
