Under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager Business Partner, Financial Analyst will support the Annual Operational budget development and long range planning. You will help consolidate functional budget submissions, analyze drivers and results, and prepare various internal reports and presentations. The position is based in West Chester, PA

Job Description Details

Job Responsibilities

  • Compile, summarize, and analyze budget and actual results with plans and forecasts. Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Partner with user groups: Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance and Strategy, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting to gather information and research situations as needed.
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods or processes.
  • Utilize a variety of spreadsheet and graphics packages to develop financial summaries. Create charts and graphs to illustrate important trends.
  • Assist in preparing the Monthly Management Report and other internal financial reports.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters, CMA, and/or CPA preferred
  • 2–4 years' experience in corporate finance, business analysis and/or equivalent experience. Strong analytical skills and financial modeling
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP as it relates to capital and expense accounting rules
  • Experience with preparing annual budget and capital forecast
  • Proficiency in Excel required
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SAP Project Systems, SAP BPC preferred
  • High sense of urgency, strength of conviction, and a desire to work closely as a partner with senior members of the company's management team.
  • Knowledge of financial management processes and accounting standards
