The permanent division of Macildowie are working in partnership with a successful and innovative brand based in Milton Keynes. The organisation are seeking a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant to join their business on a permanent basis. The Assistant Accountant will receive a salary of up to £25000 per annum along with a fantastic benefits package including study support, pension, health care and generous holiday allowance.
Duties
- Assisting with the completion of monthly prepayment and accruals
- Assisting with month end duties.
- Assisting the FP & A manager in management accounting.
- Intercompany reconciliations
- VAT processing and returns
- Completing Payment runs.
- Completion of any Adhoc duties and project work when necessary.
- Ownership of purchase ledger and sales ledger.
- Completing transactional accounts on an ad hoc basis when required.
-Assisting with payroll when required.
Requirements
Ideally candidates will be working towards, or will be fully qualified in AAT, and have desires to work towards an accredited accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
The candidate will have good communication skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Packages.
