Role - Assistant Accountant
Salary - £30,000 pro rata
Location - Wallingford, Oxfordshire

Atlas Employment have partnered up with an established and forward-thinking company based in Wallingford to offer an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant. The successful candidate will have strong organisational and time management skills and will be working closely with a small finance team and Finance Manager.

What will you be doing as an Assistant Accountant?

Preparation and reviewing VAT returns
Processing purchase invoices, bank reconciliations and expenses
Presenting monthly management accounts including nominal ledger reconciliation and timesheets
Following processes according to the company's quality system

Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar position
AAT Level 3 qualifications
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
Previous experience using Sage preferred
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem solving
Ability to work to deadlines
Easy transport routes from; Wallingford, Didcot, Reading, Tilehurst, Oxford, Benson, Henley-on-Thames, Abingdon, Wantage, Harwell

Job Type - Permanent
Status - Part-time - circa 25 hours per week
