Your responsibilities– Partake in annual closing processes– Conduct month end close, journal entries, without supervision– Manage the design and creation of balance sheet analysis and communicate reports to management– Manage capital lease and monthly payment schedules– Produce complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll– Aid in implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP– Ad–hoc tasks and special projects, as needed– Keep up fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation– Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments– Offer succinct analysis on a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a clear and concise manner
– Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment– BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics– Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities– Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills– Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel– Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast–paced environment– Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required– Recent and relevant accounting experience– Spreadsheet and database capabilities– Ability to meet deadlines– Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases– Proficient in ERP systems
