The FP&A team manages Facebook's entire budget of revenue and expense. We focus on using our unique view into 'the numbers' to see trends and opportunities that are developing within Facebook and within related industries. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action, have exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. In this role, you will join a team that manages the finances for Facebook's network hardware, which plays a critical role in building the network Facebook uses to support more than 2 billion monthly active users. Facebook's rapid growth is driving an unprecedented increase in our global network footprint as we strive to reach more people with an expanding product portfolio while improving both performance and reliability. RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Key contributor to financial planning and reporting deliverables – including monthly financial presentations to business partners, quarterly reporting/forecast, and annual budget




  • Build financial models to support long–range planning and explain near–term investment strategy




  • Dive deep into the network hardware business to build a nuanced understanding of how it runs and the data that describes the performance




  • Drive process improvements and contribute to analytical projects, including development of financial dashboards and metric scorecards




  • Review purchase requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial plan




  • Collaborate with cross–functional teams – including Sourcing, Accounting, Logistics, and Network Engineering – to provide end–to–end financial support to the business



  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • 4+ years financial analysis experience, including experience in investment banking, equity research, management consulting, or similar




  • Experience using Excel and financial reporting software (e.g. Oracle/Essbase) to maintain reporting packages on an ongoing basis




  • Experience building and managing relationships with business partners and other cross–functional stakeholders




  • Experience building financial models and delivering analytical presentations



  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and FP&A skills




  • Comfortable navigating ambiguous or unstructured problems




  • Experience in the Communications Infrastructure or Telecom sectors
