Assistant Financial Controller

Page Personnel are working in partnership with an international global industrial business based in Warrington to expand its finance function by recruiting talented Assistant Financial Controller, this exciting position will be a commercial role sitting within a head office accountancy function.

Client Details

This multi-billion pound turnover organisation work in partnership with some of the world's leading industrial projects and have locations worldwide, in the UK alone this established business have large hubs in 6 locations. Your role will be an active part of a new business model and you will directly support a systems implementation, growth of the team and offer direct commercial support to colleagues across the business. This role may require some travel but only within the Warrington and Runcorn areas.

Description

This Assistant Financial Controller role is a varied and challenging role that will include;

*Managing the monthly variance analysis

*Fixed Asset accounting

*Group reporting, and producing results

*Producing Accruals and Prepayments

*Managing accounting for overheads

*KPI reporting

*Supporting with a system implementation project - SAP

*Lease tracking

*Job and cost reporting

*Balance sheet reconciliations

*Financial modelling using advanced Excel

-This role is a fantastic role to develop your experience by directly supporting a financial controller, the position will require a confident knowledge of analysing financial data and commercial reporting of the information.

Profile

This Assistant Financial Controller role will require;

*CIMA / ACCA Part Qualified - this role is a studying opportunity

*Excellent accountancy system skills, SAP and Microsoft Excel

*Excellent management accounting or finance analyst experience

*Use of a Car and to have a Driving Licence

*Positive attitude

*Experience working within a finance role in industrial, construction or similar would be advantageous
