Our leading Internationally focused client based in Douglas is seeking a dynamic, reliable Assistant Accountant to join their busy Finance Department, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Role Profile
* To assist the Financial Manager (as one of three Assistants in the department)
* Ledger posting in JDE accounts
* Reconcile and monitor supplier accounts
* Preparing bank payments
* Post supplier invoices
* Fixed assets
* Any other ad hoc duties as required by manager
Person Profile
* Have good accounting knowledge and reasonable practical experience
* Have excellent IT knowledge particularly with Excel
* Be able to work with minimal supervision
* Be prepared to work to tight deadlines
* Be accurate with attention to detail
* Have good organisational skills
* Be able to work as a part of a team
* Have plenty of common sense
* Have a good sense of humour
