General Description:
Asia ICG Deposit FP&A lead analyst is part of Asia Revenue and Balance Sheet FP&A team.The analyst is expected towork closely with various ICG FP&A teams in Asiain managing the forward looking process related to Deposit balances and NRFF. The analyst is also responsible to provide analytical leadership in understanding how business drivers impact actual and future performance, how underlying business and market dynamics translate to risks and opportunities, and various trade-offs in terms resource allocations, particularly balance sheet.
The role will be based in Hong Kong and supported by the Mumbai CSC
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical leadership in understanding financial performance and the underlying key business drivers in order to facilitate effective and informed decision making
  • Drive the standardization of process within the region and across countries in the forward looking activities (MYF, Plan, outlook) with the emphasis of moving towards a more driver-based approach
  • Partner with Asia ICG LFOs and Global Deposit FPA team to develop such driver-based forecasting tools, especially in loan, deposit, NRFF, fees and balance-sheet. Implement these models and embed them in the regional product and countries forward looking process to increase transparency and deepen analytics in the outlook/forward looking process
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders including country partners to improve data integrity in both actuals and plan book
  • Partner with Asia TTS FP&A team and to deliver CCAR requirements
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a discipline related to Finance / Economics
  • Minimum 6-8 years working experience in Finance or related field
  • Prior experience in FP&A and high degree of familiarity with deposit business preferred
  • Result oriented, with passion to improve process working with various key stakeholders
  • Strong communication, project management, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage own time amidst competing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to navigate vast amounts of complex data easily, with attention to detail

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a discipline related to Finance / Economics
