Page Personnel are recruiting a Payroll Clerk to join a well established professional services company with offices based in Central Manchester.
A well known business, with a reputation for staff retention, are recruiting a Payroll Clerk to join their team.
As a Payroll Clerk, you will report into the Payroll Manager, responsible for managing the payroll for a number of clients, ensuring staff are paid correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: processing payroll from start to finish; inputting of new starters and leavers; amendments to details including tax codes, SSP, Maternity Pay, Paternity Pay, Holiday Pay; submitting RTI information to HMRC; respond to and resolve queries.
The successful candidate will:
- Have knowledge of working in a fast paced payroll position - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
- Have knowledge of working in a payroll bureau - Highly Beneficial
