The Regional Finance Manage ("RFM") is responsible for the financial health for all assigned facilities. The position's primary goals are to optimize facility operations through enhanced revenue cycle performance, FTE management, and operating expense controls. The RFM is the primary liaison between facility leadership and the Corporate CFO and is tasked with providing actionable insights to facility and corporate leadership through timely and relevant metrics, analysis and financial reporting.

Position Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

1. Revenue Cycle:

a. Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.

b. Ensure KPIs are implemented, reviewed and actioned timely.

c. Oversee month–end close and financial reporting including variance analysis and reporting to facility CEOs.

d. Improve customer experience including patient financial counseling and communications.

e. Facilitate communication from revenue cycle to clinical to improve collections.

f. Facilitate communication between revenue cycle to admissions including up to date yield information to improve future payer mix.

2. FTE Management:

a. Oversee weekly/monthly adherence to staffing control grids and proactively pursue staff flexing when census fluctuates.

b. Provide strategic staffing guidance for new programs or locations as the business grows.

3. Operating Expenses:

a. Manage vendors strategically leveraging GPO platform and multi–site scale.

b. Improve procurement practices for additional control and oversight.

c. Proactively manage contracts and ensure compliance with contract protocols.

4. Budgeting and Reporting:

a. Oversee the annual strategic budgeting process for each facility.

b. Assist CFO as needed for new program or new location budgeting.

c. Review monthly financial statements and collaborate with corporate accounting to close each month.

d. Provide Monthly Operating Review analysis for each facility.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Assist Corporate CFO with duties as needed including acquisition due diligence, acquisition integration, consolidation reporting and strategic planning.

2. Dotted line management to Facility CEOs on revenue cycle and resource performance.

3. Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Director on overall performance, hiring, training and providing feedback to facility revenue cycle employees.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Healthcare Administration; A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience is required along with a minimum of 3 years operational experience in the healthcare provider environment.
