Join the Financial Management Group Project Management and Operations team in Martin Place and contribute to the success of a high performing team as a Project Manager. Your demonstrated success in a role within a financial services business as a Project Manager and experience within a project delivery team will ensure you are a suitable candidate for this role. You will work across functional teams and focus on business process change for various regulatory projects.

As a Project Manager in the team, you will have diverse set of responsibilities including various regulatory focused projects including Large Exposures, SACCR, EFS and others. You will work with stakeholder groups across Finance and Risk. You will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of new reporting requirements, impacting both quarterly submissions to APRA and daily internal monitoring processes. You will engage with project managers and subject matter experts to review new regulations, facilitate interpretations and gather business requirements. You will work with systems and data architects to identify strategic long-term solutions and acquire an understanding of current state processes and business context.

To be successful as a candidate for this opportunity, you will bring knowledge of, and a genuine interest in working on business regulatory project change from other financial services businesses and/or new platform implementation projects in the financial services industry working as a Project Manager. You will have experience working on regulatory capital or liquidity projects, ideally Large Exposures, SACCR and/or EFS. Familiarity with Axiom would be highly advantageous - in particular, knowledge of Axiom reporting Taxonomy. Additionally, any knowledge of Moody's Risk Authority and/or Alteryx would be beneficial for this role. Experience with Agile would be highly advantageous as well as strong negotiation and influencing skills. Years of experience in project documentation and experience in all stages of project life cycles including analysis, design, build and test support and implementation will ensure success in this role. Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills and a flexible, solution-oriented approach to project management are a must. Prince2 or PMI qualifications as well as CA/CPA qualifications are an advantage.
