Key responsibilities and duties

The program guarantee officer will be responsible for the following duties:

Conduct feasibility studies for MFIs and potential clients as per the programs criteria.
Develop a marketing plan under the supervision of the LGP Managing Director
Conduct qualitative research identifying potential clients, their field of work and amount of guarantees required.
Evaluate guarantee applicants and identify their compatibility with the LGP criteria of client's selection.
Conduct regular field visits to MFIs and clients to evaluate their status in response to their agreement with the LGP.
Conduct field visit to guarantee applicants during the process of issuing guarantees certificates to conduct feasibility studies of their business/project.
Provide the Guarantee Approval Committee with a list of applicants who satisfy the programs criteria of selection.
Review all guarantee applications on a daily basis and provide feedback to the LGP Managing Director.
Develop regular/monthly clients' reports identifying the status of loans pay-offs.
Develop and issue guarantee certificates using the LGP's MIS system.
Update the program's blacklist database and reject any potential client within the program's blacklist applying for future guarantees.
Follow the program's policies and procedures for issuing guarantee certificates.
Perform other duties assigned by the LGP Managing Director.
