Are you a Trainee Accountant / Bookkeeper / Junior with a minimum of 12 months experience working for an accountancy firm, looking to join a niche West End practice which specialises in working with creative, media and art gallery clients? Do you want to work in a very relaxed and informal office, which is sociable and will also offer you a great work life balance? If so this entrepreneurial and forward thinking practice is looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant / Bookkeeper / Junior in a newly created position where your time will be split between bookkeeping assignments and VAT returns for an array of high profile London based clients. You will also be trained so that you can start to prepare management accounts for clients. A portion of your time will be spent ensuring clients are MTD compliant, as well as training clients on Sage One and Xero. Some of your time will be spent at client premises and the rest will be working in the firms relaxed open plan offices.
To be considered for this interesting new position, you must have at least 12 months experience working in an accountancy firm, in a role which is bookkeeping and VAT based. You must now be looking for your next challenge, and to join a niche practice where you will be trained so you can also start to prepare management accounts. Ideally you will have experience of working with creative, media and art gallery clients but an interest in these areas is also ok. You must possess excellent communication skills, be a self starter and be able to work in a team and also independently. It is likely you will be studying for the AAT or have taken your first few ACCA papers.
