The Senior (Lead) Financial Analyst will work closely with management to coordinate the flow of financial information and data. This role will examine financial information, determine interdependencies, identify motives or causes, make inferences, and implement financial improvements and solutions. Ultimately, the role ensures Strike's financial planning is healthy, profitable and aligns with business objectives.
Primary Job Function:Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis. Create structured reports on financial status and risks.Consolidate and analyze financial data, taking into account company's goals and financial standing.Encourages and engages in the development of innovative ideas to enhance organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to improve financial performance.Spearhead the budgeting and forecasting processes, including preparing financial analyses to identify trends and recommend actions.Establish financial policies.Perform any other financial duties commensurate with this type of position.
Experience:Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst or similar role.6+ years of financial analysis experience.Advanced proficiency with MS products, specifically Excel (modeling, pivot tables, macros, etc.).Experience with JD Edwards is a plus.Tableau certification is a plus.Bloomberg certification is a plus.Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus.
Education/Training:Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.Accounting designation (CFA, CPA) desired.
