This position is a relocation of the ColumbusFinancial Analyst positionas part of the ColumbusManufacturing transfer to Irontoncurrently underway. This position will assist with month end closefor a $250M revenue facility,analyze multiple plant production costs for over $100Min annual expenses and over n annual inventory purchases 700,000 man hours, reconciling over 50 balancesheet accounts, providingvendor invoice payment research for over $60M in annual inventory purchases.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly financial close process including analysis of GL accounts, writing and booking of adjusting entries, and tracking closing progress against required deadlines in order to assure timely and accurate financial records
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly analysis packages and bridge schedules including Actual to Forecast, Full Year Forecast, Plant Operations Review and others as required by Executive Leadership
  • Perform daily/weekly/monthly production cost and productivity analysis to assist Plant Controller and other Management leaders in understanding the cost drivers for Ironton's fabrication and assembly operations; includes weekly and monthly reporting on labor productivity, process scrap and departmental cost per hour
  • Complete monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations with required account analysis and balance justifications for Controller review
  • Provide local support for corporate AP, Payroll and Fixed Asset functions including entering of non–stock P.O.s, research vendor invoicing issues, assist plant associates with paycheck withholding and tool allowance questions
  • Support other critical financial activities including annual Budget completion, Standard Cost review, Physical Inventory, Financial Audit, Fixed Asset management and other Ad Hoc projects determined by Plant Controller
  • Requirements

    BA or BS
    Minimum 5 years of experience
    Ability to work and multi–task in a fast paced environment
    Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
    Ability to use a personal computer and job–related software
