ABOUT THE JOB
The Senior Business Intelligence Managers, will be responsible for the effective management and oversight of the Finance Business Intelligence (BI) team, comprising 23 analyst and senior analyst roles.
The newly created BI team will support the wider finance department and organisation by turning data into insights and action, to ensure there is an evidence base for making strategic decisions.  This will enable improved decision-making capability, driven by expert and enriched data evaluation and analysis, highlighting opportunities for improvements or concern and enabling action.
The Senior BI Managers will manage this team and work with stakeholders in other teams within Finance to ensure that the integrity of all accounting records are maintained and accurate; to prepare all required statutory returns; and to provide financial and commercial expertise. They will identify and build compelling proposals to maximise business performance, and provide the right information to help business partners and budget holders make good decisions about costs, resources and capital.
ABOUT YOU
 Fully Qualified Accountant (CCAB or CIMA)
 Excellent people management skills, including experience leading and motivating a team
 Experience of financial reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
 Excellent technical accounting knowledge
 Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to set priorities and take ownership in solving queries and challenges
This full time post is permanent and requires Management and Security Clearance Vetting.  You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
