The RoleAs the Head of Finance & Strategy, Growth you will have a unique opportunity to sit between marketing and finance, embedding with our marketing team to help us drive growth and build the Opendoor brand. You'll help drive the company's financial model while also advising our marketing and growth leadership team.

You're excited about this opportunity and organization because you will:

  • Partner with marketing leadership to build our marketing KPIs, balancing both acquisition and brand focused metrics
  • Partner with growth leadership on marketing and product strategy, helping to optimally balance our resources across both sides of our marketplace and adjacent services
  • Develop an experimentation framework and ongoing analysis to optimize marketing spend across our channels, seasons, and markets/regions
  • Manage the marketing budget and deliver recommendations on how to scale budgets in existing cities and set budgets for new launch new cities
  • Partner with Regional Division GMs and channel managers to analyze opportunities and risks to our demand forecast
  • Partner with Growth team to evaluate trade off across paid media channels and earned and owned channels (organic, SEO, lifecycle); and to understand further budget trade offs with business development partners
  • Partner with our Business Development leadership to identify new channels and growth opportunities and help to structure deal economics
  • We're excited about you because:

  • You have 6+ years across roles in a marketing operational role or in strategic planning in support of marketing efforts
  • You have a strong understanding of the marketing funnel and consumer journey, and can map the right metrics to help drive the business
  • You have worked with technical partners and driven business requirements for marketing models (attribution, media mix, etc)
  • You have strong experience with third party digital marketing platforms (Doubleclick, etc)You have experience negotiating agency fees, or a willingness to get involved
  • You have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You have experience building and managing teams
  • You're highly self–motivated, have a stellar work ethic and you're looking for the right company to support your growth
