Job Description

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Training – Business Analyst to work with various IT Systems and Applications supporting Medicaid Members and Staff in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Primary Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Gather detailed training requirements for applicable projects and define training scope.
  • Translate requirements into detailed training material for end users and internal staff.
  • Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
  • Develop user manuals, job aids, presentations and other training materials.
  • Understanding and use of Instructional Design Process.
  • Administer communication activities to assist with user adoption and system implementation.
  • Perform peer review and provide constructive feedback.
  • Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant, work experience.
  • 5+ years of prior experience developing training material
  • Prior experience in a training role for an IT Application.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook).
  • Proficient problem solving skills.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain professional while executing any given task.
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Must be detail–oriented.
  • Must be self–motivated and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members.
  • Preferred Qualification / Skills:

  • Prior healthcare experience.
  • Prior experience as Training – Business Analyst position for a large scale IT system.
  • Working knowledge of Kentucky Healthcare Programs (i.e. Medicaid).
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional Certification (CBAP) or Training Certification.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodology.
  • Demonstrating a high level of working knowledge of Training Methodologies for Adult Learners.
  • Demonstrated process improvement experience.
  • Ability to handle extreme workloads with general direction.
  • Software Skills:

    Microsoft Office Suite, Camtasia, Articulate Storyline, Robo Help, CRMs, and Adobe Connect
