The Verrichia Company, LLC, is located in

Doylestown, PA, develops and manages commercial retail projects in the Tri–State

Area of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The Company principal has been developing

retail projects since 1988.

Summary of Job Responsibilities

The Corporate Staff Accountant will play

a critical role in maintaining the Company's general ledger to ensure all business

transactions are properly recorded and reported, always applying Generally

Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Staff Accountant will also support

our financial reporting and budgeting efforts.

Principal Duties:

?? Complete the month–end close and ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. Assist in preparing and distributing monthly financial statements.

?? Monitor aging receivables and ensure that they are being collected.

?? Reconcile & Monitor project expenses against contracts on a month–to–month basis to identify and address any problem areas.

?? Ensure compliance reporting with development/municipal and lease agreements in accordance with project agreements including appropriate documentation to support reporting and analysis.

?? Work with Project Team Members to reinforce awareness of very high–level of accounting and reporting requirements to ensure effective processes for identification and proper classification of all project costs that involve contracts and retail leases.

?? Prepare lease accounting balances and disclosures for monthly, quarterly, and annual project financial statements.

?? Work with management across the business to understand contracts and lease accounting implications of agreements as they are being drafted and reviewed.

?? Perform budget vs. operating development analysis for retail projects.

?? Create, update and maintain Company's project development and lease accounting policies and procedures.

?? Review and evaluate controls surrounding project and lease accounting, propose new controls or modifications where deficiencies are identified.

?? Perform other accounting duties, including, but not limited to, the monthly balance sheet analysis of all lease accounting accounts and bank reconciliations.

?? Perform special projects (analysis, reports, and referencing etc.) and other duties assigned by CFO and CEO supervisory personnel.
