Our client in the citrus industry, and based in Addo, is currently looking to employ a Financial Accountant on a 1 Year Contract.A qualified candidate with the following experience would be ideal.
  • Management accounting and bookkeeping experience.
  • Pastel experience will be highly advantageous.
Overview of key activities:
  • Accounting function
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Variance analysis
  • Review recons
  • Payments and cash flows
  • Statutory requirements
  • Audit preparation
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by financial controller.
The criteria and requirements are as follows:
  • BCom or equivalent.
  • Completion of articles (SAIPA / SAICA / CIMA).
  • Management accounting and bookkeeping experience.
  • Pastel experience will be highly advantageous.
Additional:
  • The job is extremely challenging and demanding during season therefore the position requires someone who is highly motivated, very high attention to detail, willing to go the extra mile and who operates well within a team.
  • It will also require the management of 1 permanent employee.
