Reporting directly into the MD, this role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of financials. As part of the senior management team, you will have an active involvement in monthly board meetings and supporting financial decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of commissions and expenses.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Management of sales and purchase ledger
  • VAT returns
  • Budgeting and sales / profit forecasting
  • Liaising with external accountants and auditors
  • Ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis


Desirables:
  • Experience in the recruitment sector (or similar)
  • Strong accounting experience with a hands on approach
  • Sage accounting knowledge would be advantageous
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills
  • Attention to detail
