Financial Accountant

Greenwellgleeson are exclusively recruiting for a international automotive manufacturing company based in Coventry.

We are looking for a hands on Financial Accountant to own and run the processes and outputs relating to financial controls and reporting. Use clear financial analysis to support strategic decision making of the business and report into the Head of Finance.

Key responsibilities include:
-Manage monthly and year end closing processes
-Cash management
-Development of internal control framework
-Input into development of financial reporting and IT systems
-Preparing budgets, forecasts and business plans
-Assist in scenario analysis e.g. new investments and bid proposals
-Manage AR & AP teams

The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge of accounting and ability to apply to real business scenarios and communicate effectively as well as being analytically skilled and have a strong attention to detail.

We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant with the proven ability to manage a team on a day to day basis, including coaching colleagues, and have worked within manufacturing (ideally automotive sector).
