Our client a well known organisation based in Guilford are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join their Accountancy team.
Description
Our client is looking for a Junior Finance Analyst to join their Accountancy team in Guildford
- Post month end journals, accruals and prepayments. Upload forecasts and budgets into the finance system ensuring the output reports reconcile.
- Run month end, forecast and planning reports for the team, assisting with analysis where required
- Generate the month end, forecast and financial planning timetable, monitoring progress against target dates.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
- Collate and record basic information for entry into the financial systems, assisting with statutory returns
- Work with members of the FP&A team to learn how the reporting and analysis works and the approaches used to update and interpret them. Engage with users across the Finance department to capture feedback, offer support and help communicate news and updates regarding projects the FP&A team are working on.
- Support the staff recruitment process ensuring data is cleansed and reflects changes to posts.
